     Sarah Florence Smith was born on 2 March 1882 in Hartlepool, Durham, England.4,5 She was the daughter of Charles Edward Smith and Elizabeth Leng. In the census of 5 April 1891 in Normanby Hotel, 36 Mainsforth Terrace, Stranton, West Hartlepool, Durham, England, she was listed as the grandaughter of George Laking Sarah was a scholar.6 In the census of 31 March 1901 in 36 Mainsforth Terrace, Hartlepool, Durham, England, she was listed as the grandaughter of Sarah Laking Sarah was an innkeeper living with two of her children and grandaughter.7 She married Matthew Lamb, son of Henry Lamb and Georgina Hart Hutchinson, in 1907 in Hartlepool, Durham, England.8 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 27 Belgrave Gardens, Hartlepool, Durham, England, she was listed as the wife of Matthew Lamb.9 Her husband Matthew died on 4 January 1943 in Hartlepool, Durham, England, aged 61.1,2,4,10 Sarah died on 4 August 1981 in Durham, England, aged 99.4,11 Sarah was buried in Stranton Grange Cemetery, Tanfield Road, Hartlepool, Durham, England, Her headstone reads: In loving memory of Matthew Lamb dearly loved husband of Sara Florence Lamb died January 4th 1943 aged 61 years also the above Sara Florence died August 4th 1981 in her 100th year.4

     George Greathead was born about 1724.1 He married Sarah Chase on 10 June 1786 in Sunbury, Middlesex, England.2 George paid £1 15s in land tax for his Sunbury home in 1801 and 1802 and it appears as a house and garden in the Poll book for 1802.3,4 His wife Sarah died on before 1802. He married Sally Stone on 9 October 1802 in St Mary, Sunbury on Thames, Surrey, England, after a licence had been issued. The ceremony was witnessed by Crispin Darke and Rebecca Harmond. George was a widower, Sally was a spinster.5,6 His wife Sally died on 1803 in Sunbury on Thames, Surrey, England.7 George paid 10s 10d in 1804 in Land Tax and was living in Sunbury.3 George died in 1808 in Walton on Thames, Surrey, England.7 George was buried on 6 March 1808 in St Mary, Sunbury on Thames, Surrey, England, aged 84.7,5 The will of George was proved on 25 June 1812 in London.8

Greathead.3 He married Catherine Howard on 5 May 1797 in St Mary, Sunbury on Thames, Surrey, England, after a licence had been issued. William was a widower. The ceremony was witnessed by Eliza Ruff and Sophia Ann Seames.1,4,5 William died in 1803.2 William was buried on 23 April 1803 in Sunbury on Thames, Surrey, England, he was aged 57.2 The will of William was proved on 20 May 1803 to his wife Catherine, daughters in law Ann Miller and Elizabeth Greathead, Niece Sarah Taylor daughter of his sister Catherine are mentioned in his will. As are nieces Henrietta Thorn and May Corfi.3

     George Reginald Todd was born about 1907.3 He was the son of Thomas Henry Todd. He married Margaret Joan Lamb, daughter of Norman James Lamb, on 22 June 1946 in Holy Trinity, Seaton Carew, Durham, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by E W Thompson, M A Lamb (? Aunt-in-law) J Walter Todd. George was a master printer. Margaret gave her address as 2 Bolton Road, Seaton Carew, and George gave 48 Hutton Avenue, West Hartlepool. Both fathers were deceased, Thomas Henry Todd had been a timber merchant traveller and Norman James Lamb had been a farmer.4

In the census of 5 April 1891 in The Green, Seaton Carew, Durham, England, she was listed as the daughter of Charles Lamb Mary was a scholar.3 In the census of 31 March 1901 in Front Street, Seaton Carew, Durham, England, she was listed as the daughter of Mary Jane Lamb.4 In the census of 2 April 1911 in Cockson's Green Farm, East Howle, Ferryhill, Durham, England, she was listed as the daughter of Mary Jane Lamb.5
