Nicholas Spurr Lamb was born on 11 January 1871 in Mollison Street, Malmsbury, Victoria, Australia, Both his parents were present when they registered Nicholas on 25 January 1871. Dad stated he was a baker aged 40 born in Durham, and Mum stated she was formerly Harrison aged 28 born Halifax, England although on a copy of another birth certificate I understand she stated she was born in Ireland. They said that they had been married in 1866 in Queensland. They stated thwy had two other children John aged 3 years and Joseph aged 2 years. I believe she also had children from a previous marriage.1 He was the son of John Spurr Lamb and Emma Jane Harrison.1 He married Florence Jane Richardson, daughter of Richard Richardson and Anne McNulty, on 17 August 1893 in St Marks Church, Warwick, Queensland, Australia.2

His funeal was announced in the Times newspaper as being on 22 June 1961 at Norham, Northumberland.11,12,13 She died on 10 August 1968 in 40 Burden Lane, Cheam, Surrey, England, aged 75 Her usual address was Dormy House, Borden, Hampshire.14 Administration papers were issued with a will on 15 March 1969 at Newcastle upon Tyne 15 March 1969 to Ranald Victor Davidson retired, her brother.14
