Katherine Agnes Parr married Herbert Archer Croft, son of Herbert George Denman Croft and Georgina Eliza Lucy Marsh, on 3 February 1903 in Lugardice Court, Lugwardine, Herefordshire, England.1 Her husband Herbert died on 11 August 1915 aged 46 Sir Herbert Archer Croft was killed in action while fighting as a Captain in the Herfordshire Regiment. He is remembered on the Helles Memorial at Gallipoli.2 Katherine died in 1966.3

He was listed as married annd a canvasser, he was discharged four days later. He then.spent some time in the Labour Colony at the 200 acre Sumpers Farm in Dunton in Poplar and was finally discharged on 3 May 1919. This was a men's workhouse for about 100 inmates.4 Arthur enrolled into the London District Labour Corps on 30 May 1919 giving his address as 171 St Leonards Road in Poplar stating he was aged 42 and a clerk. He was 5 foot 2 inches tall, weighed 122 lbs, brown hair, fresh complexion and brown eyes.. He was demobilised on 26 April 1920 having spent a short time in France. His leave certificate suggested his address was 3 Follett Street in Poplar.5
