The Administration of his estate was received by Fred, his brother and an electrician on 4 July 1929.5 He died on 8 January 1978 in 20 Leeway Cove, Great Shelford, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England, aged 75.6,5 He did not leave a will. Administration papers were issued on 3 March 1978 in Ipswich. His effects were valued at £31,859.5
