     Henry Huitson was born in 1786.2 He was baptized on 13 January 1788 in Ingleton, Teesdale, Durham, England.1 He was the son of Henry Huitson and Ann Hardy. He married Mary Bromley. His wife Mary died on 1860 in Evenwood, Durham, England.1 Henry was listed as the head of the family of on the census of 7 April 1861 in Ingleton, Teesdale, Durham, England, Henry was an agricultural pauper. The enumerator spelt his surname as Hewitson.3

     Thomas Warwick was born about 1811 in Ingleton, Durham, England.2 He married Mary Huitson, daughter of Henry Huitson and Mary Bromley, on 7 June 1835.1 Thomas was listed as head of household in the census of 30 March 1851 at Gainsford, Durham, England, Thomas and Mary were living with their children. Thomas was a master blacksmith, their sons John aged 15 was an apprentice blacksmith, Thomas aged 13, Henry aged 8, William aged 5,Jacob aged 4 and their daughters Elizabeth aged 10, Mary aged 7 were scholars and little George was aged one.3 Thomas was listed as the head of the family of on the census of 7 April 1861 in Gainsford, Durham, England, Thomas and Mary were living with eight of their children. Thomas was a master blacksmith, their son Henry aged 18 was an operational blacksmith, their daughter Mary aged 17 was a servant out of place, their sons Jacob aged 13, George aged 11, Francis aged 6 and daughters aged Isabella aged 9, Elleanor aged 5 were all scholars and to complete the family was Louisa aged two.4
