Edward Greathead was born about 1688.1 He was the son of Edward Greathead. Edward entered Magdalene College, Cambridge on 18 December 1704. He gained his Matric in 1705, BA in 1708-9, and was ordained Deacon in Lincoln on 5 March 1709-10. He was teh Rector of East Barkwith, Lincolnahie in 1712 and later became a schoolmaster in Stickney.1 He died in 1727 in Stickney, Lincolnshire, England.1
