Catherine Marguerite Moyle was born in 1880. She was the daughter of Samuel Hamlyn Moyle.1 She married John Thomas Greathead, son of John Greathead and Sarah Ann Morris, on 9 July 1903 in Kensington Parish Church, Kensington, London, England, They married after banns and the ceremony was witnessed by L Hamlyn Moyle, L A Muriel Moyle and M A H Moyle. John gave his address as 3 Campden Grove and gave his age as 39 years. I think this is a little short of his correct age, maybe he did not want the quite large age gap to appear larger. He also stated his occupation was a gentleman. Catherine gave her address as 86 Kensington Gardens Square.2 In the census of 2 April 1911 in Metchley, 5 Anchorage Road, Sutton Coldfield, Aston, Warwickshire, England, she was listed as the wife of Roland Greathead.3 She died on 12 May 1952.4,5 The will of Catherine was proved on 25 June 1952 to Westminster Bank Ltd. Her effects were valued at £7455 3s 8d.5
