John gave his address as 3 Campden Grove and gave his age as 39 years. I think this is a little short of his correct age, maybe he did not want the quite large age gap to appear larger. Catherine gave her address as 86 Kensington Gardens Square.5 In the census of 2 April 1911 in Metchley, 5 Anchorage Road, Sutton Coldfield, Aston, Warwickshire, England, she was listed as the wife of Roland Greathead.6 Her husband John died on 31 January 1939 in 635 Chester Road, Erdington, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, aged 78 His death was registered under the name of Roland J although on the wills index he is listed as John Thomas.7,8 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Catherine was listed as living at 1 Rigden Road, Hove, Sussex, England, with her son Jack.
