In the census of 3 April 1881 in 57 Rodney Street, Tranmere, Cheshire, England, he was listed as the son of George Tunley William was a scholar.2 He married Mary Edith Thomas, daughter of Edward Thomas and Mary Evans, in 1897 in Oswestry, Shropshire, England.3 In the census of 31 March 1901 in 33 Thomas Street, Oswestry, Shropshire, England, he was listed as the son in law of Mary Thomas William was a french polisher.4 William was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1911 in The Friars, 52 Friar Street, Bridgenorth, Shropshire, England, William was a licensed victualler brewer living with his wife and three children in their eight roomed home.5

George was a magistrate.3,2 She married Edward Thomas on 30 October 1873 in Oswestry, Shropshire, England.4,2 Her husband Edward died on before 1901.5 Mary was listed as head of household in the census of 31 March 1901 in 33 Thomas Street, Oswestry, Shropshire, England, Mary was a widow, working as a saddler living with daughter, and son in law and grandchildren.6

     William Joseph Beverly was the son of Joseph Beverly.1 William took out a licence on 23 November 1881.2 He married Louisa Annie Greathead, daughter of Charles Greathead and Mary Ann Priscilla Grishow, on 25 November 1881 in Saint John of Jerusalem, Hackney, London, England, after a licence had been issued. The ceremony was witnessed by Charles Jenkins Beverly and Emily Edith Greathead. William and Annie both gave their address as 115 Bentham Road, William was a ships steward. Interestingly Louisa's father was described as a deceased umbrella maker. He was dead but had left in 1866 for Australia. Had she and her siblings heard from him?3,1

In the census of 5 April 1891 in 6 Lime Grove, Handsworth, West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England, he was listed as the son of Thomas William Greathead Frank was a scholar.6 In the census of 31 March 1901 in 6 Lime Grove, Handsworth, West Bromwich, Staffordshire, England, he was listed as the son of Thomas William Greathead Frank was a law clerk.5 He married Laura Gertrude Dixon, daughter of George Dixon, on 13 March 1907 in Holy Trinity, Birchfield, Staffordshire, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by B M Dixon and Nellie Greathead (sister) Frank was a law clerk.7,8 Frank was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1911 in 6 Warwick Road, Newport, Monmouthshire, Wales, Frank worked as a law clerk living with his wife and son in their five roomed home. They had a boarder called Florence Dixon.9 Private 47594 enlisted in Newport, Monmouthshire into the 26th (Tyneside Irish) Battalion, Northumberland Fusiliers.10,11 Laura was living at 155, Albert Road, Aston Manor, Birmingham when she received news of her husband's death.3 Frank died on 24 April 1917 in Flanders, Belgium, He was killed in action.3,10,11 Frank was buried on 28 April 1917 in Brown's Copse Cemetery, Roeux, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France, in plot III.D.27.3,12
