Joy's father William Henry Faulkner was a newsagent /grocer.3 She died on 20 November 2014 in Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, Farnham, Surrey, England, at age 65.4,5 The funeral of Joy Frances Mould took place on 17 December 2014 in Wonersh and Blackheath Cemetery, Wonersh, Surrey, England, followed by a cremation in Guildford, her ashes were buried in Wonersh and Blackheath Cemeyert on 7 May 2015.6

Chapple Norton was born on 2 April 1746 in Grantley, Yorkshire, England. He was the son of Fletcher Norton and Grace Chapple. He gained the rank of Captain in June 1763 in the service of the 19th Foot, and the rank of Major in 1769 in the service of the 1st Royal Foot. He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1774 in the service of the Coldstream Guards and fought in the American War of Independence. He gained the rank of Brevet Colonel in November 1780. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Guildford between 1784 and 1790. He gained the rank of Major-General in 1787 and Lieutenant-General in 1797 and finally General on 29 April 1802.1 Chapple signed his will on 3 March 1818i in front of witnesses Joseph Hockler, Richard Nyren and William Smith. He left bequests to his brothers and other members of the family and many of his servants.2 He died on 19 March 1818 in Wonersh, Surrey, England, at age 71 he never married. He was buried on 12 April 1818 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England.3 His estate was probated on 3 June 1818 in London with a Codicil before the Worshipful

Alice Frederica Girardot was born on 2 September 1889 in Kensington, London, England.1,2 She was the daughter of Frederick George Girardot and Alice Elizabeth Crofts. She was the daughter of Frederick George Girardot and Alice Elizabeth Girardot in the 1901 census in 113 Northgate Street, Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, England.3 Alice lived in The Gables, London Road in Guildford in 1926 until she moved to Wonersh.4 She received the probate of the estate of Alice Elizabeth Girardot on 23 October 1930 in London to Francis Evelyn Bray and insurance broker and her daughter Alice Frederica Girardot . Her effects were valued at £155 16s 1d.54 She appeared on the National Register of 2 September 1939 in the household of Beatrice Elliott Cook in Barnett Hill, Wonersh, Surrey, England.6 Alice was awarded the MBE.1 She died on 19 April 1972 in Midhurst, Sussex, England, at age 82.1,7 The funeral of Alice Frederica Girardot took place on 24 April 1972 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England.1
