The ceremony was witnessed by Ann Courage, Frank Courage and George Marshall. Edward was a Gentleman like his father John Courage. Helen 's father George Marshall was also a Gentleman.3 He received the probate of the estate of Susan Hawes on 3 September 1887.4 He died on 10 June 1904 in 1 Mount Street, Berkeley Square, Westminster, London, England.5,4 His estate was probated on 21 July 1904 in London to Edward Hubert Courage, Raymond Courageand Miles Ralph Ferguson Courage, a Major in the Royal Artillary. John was a brewer.3 He was the son of Susan Courage in the 1861 census in The Elms, Beddington, Surrey, England. John was a brewmaster.4 His estate was probated on 9 June 1861 in the Principal Registry by the oaths of Robert Courage of Horselydown aforesaid a brewer and Edward Courage of the same place Brewer and brothers and executors. She was the daughter of Jesse Stephen Lemon and Jane Lemon in the 1901 census in Hillside, West Horsley, Surrey, England.2 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Beatrice Maud Lemon was listed as living at Coniston, Barnett Lane, Wonersh, Surrey, England, with her father Beatrice was a retired nurse.3 She died on 23 November 1939 in Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford, Surrey, England, at age 45 Her death was recorded in the Surrey Advertiser of 25 November 1939. It said: DEATH OF MISS B. M. LEMON’ Miss Beatrice Maud Lemon, daughter of Mr. Jesse Lemon, formerly of Hillside, West Horsley, died in the Royal* Surrey County Hospital. Guildford, on Thursday of last week. She had been living at Coniston, Barnett-lane, Wonersh, for several years. The funeral took place at West Horsley Church on Tuesday, the Rector (the Rev. H. E. Stevens) officiating. Miss Lemon was buried in her mother’s grave. Mr. T. Simmonds. West Horsley, was the undertaker.4,5

He was the son of Rosina Robbins in the 1911 census in 292 Upland Road, Dulwich, London, England.2 Frederick, Rosina and their family left Avonmouth near Bristol on 4 May 1914 on board Patuca bound for Limon in Costa Rica. Frederick was listed as an engineer as was his brother John Lewis Robbins who traveled with them.3 Frederick, Rosina, Cyril and Audrey returned on 27 February 1916 to Avonmouth in Bristol on board Coronado from Port Limon in Costa Rica.4
