     William Wilkinson was born about 1828 in Keighley, Yorkshire, England.1 He married Elizabeth Sagar on 15 September 1858 in Leeds, Yorkshire, England.1,2 William was listed as the head of the family on the census of 7 April 1861 in Swandforth Street, Skipton, Yorkshire, England, William was a corn miller empoloying 16 men and 2 boys. The household had four servants. Elizabeth Musgrave an unmarried lady aged 53 who was a proprietor of houses was visiting them I believe this was William's Aunt, his mothers sister.3 William was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1871 in 2 Swandfort Street, Skipton, Yorkshire, England, William was a corn miller employing 17 men and 1 boy and living with his wife and children. The household also had four servants.4 William was listed as the head of the family on the census of 3 April 1881 in 2 St Mary Street, Headlingley, Yorkshire, England, William was a retired corn miller living with his wife and children with three servants.5
