     William John Chamberlain was the son of John Chamberlain.1 He married Mary Greated, daughter of Joseph John Greated, on 11 November 1883 in Parish Church, Islington, London, England, after the banns had been read. William was a widower and worked as a policeman giving his address as 6 St Paul Street, Islington. Mary was a spinster giving her address as 134 Hornsey Road. The ceremony was witnessed by Edward Thomas and Henry Bilby.2
