     Walter Storer was born on 2 March 1889 in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England.1,2,3 He was the son of Walter Storer and Sarah Ann Britt.1 He was baptised on 7 April 1889 in St Mary and All Saints, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England.4 In the census of 5 April 1891 in 19 Durrant Road, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England, he was listed as the son of Walter Storer.5 In the census of 31 March 1901 in 431 Shoreham Street, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, he was listed as the son of Walter Storer.6,7 In the census of 2 April 1911 in 433 Shoreham Street, Sheffield, Yorkshire, England, he was listed as the son of Walter Storer Walter was a clerk.8 He sailed on the SS Dominion arriving on 9 April 1914 in for Canada.9 Walter signed up in to the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force on 26 October, giving his father Walter as his next of kin living at 433 Shoreham Street, Sheffield. Walter was a clerk, 5 foot 4 inches tall with a fair complexion, brown eyes and light brown hair.10 Walter left Montreal on board SS Quebec arriving in Liverpool on 2 August 1915.11 Walter arrived in Halifax, Nova Scotia on 19 September on board SS Regina.9 He married Marguerite Enid Moss on 22 October 1924 in Saint John the Baptist, Pointe-Claire, Massachusetts, USA.12 Walter died on 9 June 1941 in Montreal General Hospital, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, aged 52.9,12 His body was cremated on 11 June 1941 in Mount Royal Cemetery, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.12
