     George Hayward married Edith Greathead, daughter of James Greathead and Jane Ann Dowson, in 1924 in Sedgefield, Durham, England.2 George and Edith had a farm outside Thirsk.1 He died before 1965.3

She married Timothy John Greathead, son of Edwin Bateson Greathead and Mavis Cosgrove, on 28 August 1977 in Doncaster, Yorkshire, England.1,3 She died on 3 June 1984 in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England, aged 29 but not registered until October.1,4,5 Administration papers were issued with a will on 10 April 1985 in London. His effects were valued at £117.6
