Ruby Greathead
     Ruby Greathead was born on 19 April 1910 in Auckland, Durham, England, Ruby was the twin of Naomi.2,3 She was the daughter of Robert Greathead and Sarah Dowson. In the census of 2 April 1911 in 7 Leymour Street, Bishop Auckland, Durham, England, she was listed as the daughter of Robert Greathead.4 In the census of 19 June 1921 in Nags Head House, Rainton Gate, West Rainton, Durham, England, she was listed as the daughter of Robert Greathead.5 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Ruby Greathead was listed as living at 5 St Andrews Place, Bradford, Yorkshire, England, with her parents Ruby was a spool winder in woollen mill.6 A postcard was sent to Ruby addressed to 6 Lady Lane, Listerhills Road postmarked 14 August 1963 talking about the weather from Daphne, Les and Dennis.7 She died on 21 March 2002 in Bradford, Yorkshire, England, aged 91 Ruby did not marry.1,8,9,10

     Archibald Tyrell Robinson was born in 1872 in Battle, Sussex, England.1,3 He was the son of Daniel George Robinson and Jane Amelia Graham. He married Madge Appleyard in 1915 in Kensington, London, England.1,4 Archibald died in 1917.1

     Gordon Greathead was the son of Hubert Gordon Greathead and Catherine De Villiers. He married Thelma Sharp. Gordon came to French polish the piano of Richard Greathead's parents at Knysna in c 1980.1,2 Gordon died in 1985.3

Thelma Sharp1

     Thelma Sharp married Gordon Greathead, son of Hubert Gordon Greathead and Catherine De Villiers. Her husband Gordon died on 1985.2 She died in March 1994 She was murdered by daughter Carolyn and her boyfriend, it was reported in the Cape Times.1,3
