     Josephine Ellen Brown was born in 1879 in Bloemfontein, South Africa.2 She was the daughter of Stephen Edward Brown and Hannah Burgess.2 She married Cyril Harding Greathead, son of Daniel Charles Robinson Greathead and Elizabeth Antoinette Burnet, on 16 April 1910 in Johannesburg, South Africa.1 Cyril and his wife travelled board SS Aba leaving Liverpool on 22 July 1925 bound for Sekondi-Takoradi in Ghana, the Gold Coast with 1698 passengers on board. The ship was with the British & African S/n Co Ltd line and the master was J Hughes. It was registered as having 4595.66 tonnage.3 She died in 1951.1
