In the census of 2 April 1871 in Catsfield, Hampshire, England, he was listed as the son of Jane Amelia Robinson.³ In the census of 5 April 1891 in Southfield, Waterloo, Hampshire, England, he was listed as the brother of Norman Battye Robinson Harold was a Gentlleman cadet.⁴ Harold died on 31 May 1916 in Simonstown, South Africa, he was a Major in the Royal North Lancashire Regient 2nd Battalion and died from his wounds.¹ His estate was probated on 13 April 1917 in London to his sister Edith Janey Robinson a spinster. His effects were valued at £1,558 0s 5d. His address in England was Glencroft, Bromley in Kent.⁵ Harold was buried in Dido Valley Cemetery, Simonstown, South Africa.
