In the census of 31 March 1901 in 2 Greenback Terrace, Plymouth, Devon, England, she was listed as the boarder student together with her sister Winifred. Alice, the wife of the head of the household was a schoolmistress.2 She married ... Watson They have three daughters.3

     Ethel Rose Robinson was born on 18 August 1888.1 She was the daughter of George Henry Robinson and Sophie Alice Rundle. She married James Alexander Richard Thompson on 19 November 1919 in Awliscombe, Honiton, Devon, England.1 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Ethel was listed as living at 12 Church Street, Wortley, Yorkshire, England, with her husband James. James was a medical practitioner living with his wife who was a trained nurse and a domestic servant. James was in ARP Service WRCC mobile, Etthel was in ARP civil nursing reserve.2 Ethel died in 1975.1

     Harold Arthur Robinson was born in 1870 in Battle, Sussex, England.1,2 He was the son of Daniel George Robinson and Jane Amelia Graham. He was baptised on 1 January 1871 in Catsfield, Sussex, England. In the census of 2 April 1871 in Catsfield, Hampshire, England, he was listed as the son of Jane Amelia Robinson.3 In the census of 5 April 1891 in Southfield, Waterloo, Hampshire, England, he was listed as the brother of Norman Battye Robinson Harold was a Gentlleman cadet.4 Harold died on 31 May 1916 in Simonstown, South Africa, he was a Major in the Royal North Lancashire Regient 2nd Battalion and died from his wounds.1 His estate was probated on 13 April 1917 in London to his sister Edith Janey Robinson a spinster. His effects were valued at £1,558 0s 5d. His address in England was Glencroft, Bromley in Kent.5 Harold was buried in Dido Valley Cemetery, Simonstown, South Africa.

     Norman Battye Robinson was baptised on 11 July 1866 in St Matthew, St Petersburgh Place, Bayswater, London, England, the family lived at 10 Orme Square and his father was Lt Colonel in the Royal Engineers.1 He was the son of Daniel George Robinson and Jane Amelia Graham. In the census of 2 April 1871 in Catsfield, Hampshire, England, he was listed as the son of Jane Amelia Robinson.2 Norman was listed as the head of the family on the census of 5 April 1891 in Southfield, Waterloo, Hampshire, England, Norman was a surgeon with his mother, brother Harold and three servants in the household.3 He married Janet Fairhurst Ridley on 27 May 1899 in All Saints, Margaret Street, St Marylebone, London, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by Archibald Tyrrell Robinson and S Forde Ridley. Norman was listed as MRCS LRCP London and gave his address as The Bungalow, Sea View on Isle of Wight. His father was a Major General in the Royal Engineers. Her father Samuel Edwin Ridley was a Gentleman.4,5 His wife Janet died on 26 July 1912 in Powfoot, Annan, Dumfrieshire, Scotland, her usual address was Fairhurst, Peppard Common in Oxfordshire.6 He married Lilian Brodhurst-Hill on 18 April 1914 in St Marylebone, Marylebone, London, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by Lt Col G W Robinson and Kate S Brodhurst-Hill. Norman was a widower and a retired medical practitioner. His father Daniel George Robinson was a Lieutencant General in the Royal Engineers. Lilian was a spinster, her father Alfred Brodhurst-Hill was a solicitor. Both Norman and Lilian gave their address as 18 York Terrace.7,8 Norman died on 24 March 1920 aged 53.1

The ceremony was witnessed by Lt Col G W Robinson and Kate S Brodhurst-Hill. Norman was a widower and a retired medical practitioner.
