     Charles Durber was born about 1881. He was the son of Thomas Durber.1 He married Lily May Faulkner, daughter of George Faulkner and Ellen Greathead, on 23 November 1929 in The Register Office, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England, Borth Charles and Lily had been widowed prior to their marriage. It was performed after a certifiate had been issued. Charles was a general labourer and gave his address as 15 Clavadore Street, Duddeston. Lily gave her address as 18/27 Saltley Road, Duddeston. The ceremony was witnessed by A Haltridge and W Durber.2
