John Huthnance
     John Huthnance married Ann Stevens. He and Ann Huthnance were a fitter and turner, an engineer who travelled around to find work, taking the family from St Ives to Bristol, to Greenwich, Swindon and then back to St Ives before emigrating on the "Thomas Arbuthnot" in 1848 arriving in Sydney in 1849.4

Ann Huthnance née Stevens
     Ann Stevens married John Huthnance. Rickard and Mary ....2 James was listed as head of household in the census of 30 March 1851 at East Turnpike, St Austell, Cornwall, England, James was an assayer of minerals.5 James was listed as the head of the family of on the census of 7 April 1861 in Watering Hill, St Austell, Cornwall, England, James was an assayer.6 James was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1871 in Mevagissy Street, St Austell, Cornwall, England, James was listed with his daughter, I do not know at present where his wife was listed. He married Ellen Jane Paul, daughter of Henry Paul and Mary J Grylls, on 20 July 1885 in Weslyan Parsonage, Forest Street, Sandhurst, Victoria, Australia, The ceremony was conducted by Rev William L Blamires and witnessed by Sophy Paul (possibly sister of bride) and William Davey brother of the groom.1,2 He was a draper. His wife Ellen died on 13 February 1930 in Australia.2 James died on 20 September 1933 aged 74.2

He married Elizabeth Johnson, daughter of George Johnson and June Holmes Bell, on 6 April 1888 in Box Hill, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, the residence of J B Stamp. The service ws conducted by Rev George Gray according to the rites of the Primitive Methodist Church, and witnessed by Joseph Stokes and Richard B Stamp. Thomas was living in Tatura, Elizabeth in Richmond.1,2 He was a saddler. Thomas died on 21 September 1896 in Kew Lunatic Asylum, Bendigo, Victoria, Australia, aged 36 from Pneumonia after the Coroner C Candler held an inquest.1,2 He was buried in Bendigo Cemetery, Bendigo, Victoria, Australia, in same grave as mother Emma Jane Davey and Mary Ellen Evans Davey (Mrs Alfred Ernest.)1

He married Agnes Chalmers, daughter of Joseph Chalmers and Ann Shepherd, on 14 September 1887 in Happy Valley, Victoria, Australia, They married at the home of Mrs Chalmers according to the rites of the Weslyan methodist Church. The ceremony was witnessed by Lizzie Davey and Chas M Chalmers.1,2 The family moved to Hobart, Tasmania where they bought another drapery business.4 William died on 1 January 1936 in Carnegie, Victoria, Australia, aged 73.5,2,3

     Charles Rickard Davey was born on 27 March 1870 in Sandhurst, Victoria, Australia.1,2,3 He was the son of Thomas Henry Davey and Emma Jane Greathead. He married Jane Hosking, daughter of John Hosking and Jane Collins, on 19 December 1895 in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia.1,2 He was working in the drapery and clothes store he owner, he was also a manufacturer in hosiery. Due to ill health sold store to A.R. Davis who opened an establishment next door at 102-104 with Allan Davis as manager. Niece Ruby Clayton worked in store on Friday nights in Puckle Street, Moonee Ponds, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Charles died on 10 October 1926 in Malvern, Victoria, Australia, aged 56 from Chronic cholacystitis and a pulmonary embolism 24 days after an operation for appendicitis.1,4,2,3 Charles was buried on 12 October 1926 in Fawkner Cemetery, R.C. section, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.1
