Rose Anna Lazell née Hearn
     Rose Anna Hearn was born on 9 October 1883 in Kettleburgh, Suffolk, England.1,2,3 She was the daughter of Henry Hearn and Mary Ann Banthorpe.1 She married Walter Joseph Lazell, son of Samuel Lazell, on 1 January 1904 in St Michael's Church, Framlingham, Suffolk, England, after a certificate was issued. The ceremony was witnessed by Henry, who signed with his mark and Lizzie Hearn. Walter gave his address as Brentwood and his occupation as a painter and plasterer.1,2,4 This picture of young Harry with his parents Walter and Roseanna was taken probably in 1905.2 The family had a picture taken in 1913. She died on 16 May 1958 in Burgess Hill, Sussex, England, aged 74.1,2,5

     Walter Joseph Lazell was born about 1882.3 He was the son of Samuel Lazell.2 He married Rose Anna Hearn, daughter of Henry Hearn and Mary Ann Banthorpe, on 1 January 1904 in St Michael's Church, Framlingham, Suffolk, England, after a certificate was issued. The ceremony was witnessed by Henry, who signed with his mark and Lizzie Hearn. Walter gave his address as Brentwood and his occupation as a painter and plasterer.1,4,5 This picture of young Harry with his parents Walter and Roseanna was taken probably in 1905.4 He died on 19 January 1916 in France he was a Private number 2997 in the 4th Suffolk Regiment and is remembered on Panel 21 of the Ypres Memorial at Menin Gate.4,6

     Lucy Elizabeth Lazell was born on 2 November 1906 in Billericay, Essex, England.2,3 She was the daughter of Walter Joseph Lazell and Rose Anna Hearn.1 She married Cecil William Dorling on 11 October 1934 in Woodbridge, Suffolk, England.2,4 Her husband Cecil died on 3 December 1986 aged 81.2 She died on 18 January 1987 aged 80.2
