     Amelia Dorrington was born on 13 March 1925 in Shamley Green, Surrey, England.1 She was the daughter of Leonard George Dorrington and Amelia Bessie Young. She was baptised on 12 April 1925 in Christ Church, Shamley Green, Surrey, England.1 She married Douglas Charkes Hayhoe on 5 April 1947 in Christ Church, Shamley Green, Surrey, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by L Dorrington and C F Hayhoe. Douglas was a Petty Officer in the Royal Navy at HMS Portland Bill. His father Charles Frederick Hayhoe was a Painter LNSR. Amelia was a domestic servant living at Stroud Brow in Shamley Green, her father Leonard George Dorrington was a chauffeur.1 She died in 2012 in 15 Blunden Court, Bramley, Surrey, England.2 Her ashes were buried on 3 January 2012 in Christ Church, Shamley Green, Surrey, England, in plot R8.2

     William Edward Russell was born circa 1892.1 He married Rose Dunn, daughter of William Stevens and Rose Jones, on 29 June 1927 in Christ Church, Shamley Green, Surrey, England, after a licence had been issued. The ceremony was witnessed by Florence Kate Wrixen and Edith Louisa Booker. William was a clerical worker from Cranleigh. His father William Russell was a station master. Rose's father William Stevens was a builder. Both William and Rose were widowed.1

     George Arthur Spreadborough was born on 27 November 1909 in Hartley Wintney, Hampshire, England.1,2 He married Emily Stevens, daughter of William Stevens and Augusta Caroline Childs, on 27 September 1930 in Christ Church, Shamley Green, Surrey, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by William Percy Alfred Wissam and Lilian Maud Wissam. George was a labourer from Stoke near Guildford and his father Jesse Spreadborough was a bricklayer. Emily's father William Stevens was a labourer.1 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register George was listed as living at 71 The Chase, Guildford, Surrey, England, with his wife Emily. The ceremony was witnessed by William Stevens and Edith Emily Gregory Reginald was a gardener and his father Walter Wrixen was deceased.
