She was baptised on 12 April 1925 in Christ Church, Shamley Green, Surrey, England.1 She married Douglas Charkes Hayhoe on 5 April 1947 in Christ Church, Shamley Green, Surrey, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by L Dorrington and C F Hayhoe. Douglas was a Petty Officer in the Royal Navy at HMS Portland Bill. His father Charles Frederick Hayhoe was a Painter LNSR.      George Arthur Spreadborough was born on 27 November 1909 in Hartley Wintney, Hampshire, England.1,2 He married Emily Stevens, daughter of William Stevens and Augusta Caroline Childs, on 27 September 1930 in Christ Church, Shamley Green, Surrey, England, after the banns had been read.
