     Kathleen Sample died on 25 October 2010 in Royal Surrey County Hospital, Guildford, Surrey, England, She still had her house in Barnett Close, but had temporarily moved to Pilgrim Wood Care Home where she suffered a massive stroke and was taken to Royal Surrey County Hospital.¹ Her body was cremated on 17 November 2010 in Guildford Crematorium, Godalming, Surrey, England.¹
