He was baptised on 27 September 1931 in Christ Church, Shamley Green, Surrey, England.1 He married Elsie Margaret Lucas in 1953 in Surrey, England.3 He died in February 1998 in Crawley, Sussex, England, at age 66.4

Michael Elliott was born circa 1820 in Wexford, Ireland. Michael joined the Navy on 18 June 1841 serving on the ship Hastings becoming a coast guard on 1 February 1850 until 30 July 1869i.1 He married Mary Peters in 1851 in Llandilfawr, Carmarthenshire, Wales.2 He was listed as head of household in the 1861 census in 41 High Street, Clovelly, Devon, England. Michael was a coast guard on ships ' booked' living with his wife and four children.3 He was listed as head of household in the 1871 census in The Lodge, Clovelly, Devon, England. Michael was a naval pensioner living with his wife and children.4 He was listed as head of household in the 1881 census in East Lodge, Clovelly, Devon, England. Michael was an engine driver and navy pensioner living with his wife and children.5 His wife Mary died on 25 June 1888 in Bideford, Devon, England.6,7 He was listed as head of household in the 1891 census in Hobby Lodge, Clovelly, Devon, England. Michael was a naval pensioner living with two of his children.8 He died on 10 February 1899 in Bideford, Devon, England.9,7 He was buried in All Saints, Clovelly, Devon, England.7

He was a son of Michael Elliott and Mary Elliott in the 1871 census in The Lodge, Clovelly, Devon, England.2 He was the son of Michael Elliott and Mary Elliott in the 1881 census in East Lodge, Clovelly, Devon, England. Thomas was an assistant domestic gardener.3 He married Lucy Ellen ... Thomas and Lucy had a daughter.4 He was listed as head of household in the 1901 census in The Vicarage, Margam, Glamorganshire, Wales. Thomas was a woodman living with his wife.5 He died in 1923 in England Sadly Lucy had returned to Wales with her daughter. It is not thought that Thomas and Lucy were divorced. Thomas loved working with horses and had worked at Great Tangley as a coachman.4 He was buried on 20 February 1923 in Christ Church, Shamley Green, Surrey, England, in plot H6.6

Francis Elliott was born in 1865 in Alwington, Devon, England, Francis was the twin of Ellen.1 He was the son of Michael Elliott and Mary Peters. He was a son of Michael Elliott and Mary Elliott in the 1871 census in The Lodge, Clovelly, Devon, England.2 He was the son of Michael Elliott and Mary Elliott in the 1881 census in East Lodge, Clovelly, Devon, England. Francis as an assistant gardener.3 He married Hannah Mock in 1888 in Barnstaple, Devon, England.4 It is understood that Hannah died in child birth. Frank moved to Nottingham and married again to Lena a member of the wealthy Blean family from Kent. They had two children Ruth and Arthur. Arthur went on to marry and had two children. Ruth, a milliner by occupation did not marry, she stayed at home to look after the parents.5 He appeared in the 1891 census in Cobham Chase, Cobham, Surrey, England. He was listed as a single domestic gardener living with two other domestic gardeners in rooms in the garden working for the Earl and Countess of Darnley.6 He appeared in the 1901 census in 93 New Kings Road, Fulham, London, England. He was a domestic gardener boarding with a widow Eliza Godfrey. He was lisrted as married.7
