After completing a double degree in Clinical Psychology annd Social Work, Helen lived in London for two years.¹ She married Kenneth Elwyn Bartle, son of Oliver John Bartle and Evelyn Maude Greathead, on 23 November 1974 in Perth, Western Australia, Australia, They met in Perth in 1971 Helen was a staff and student counsellor at Sydney University and stayed until the birth of their first child, a total of 4 years.¹ Helen died on 18 September 1983 in Perth, Western Australia, Australia, aged 37 of breast cancer which she had fought bravely and with courage since 1979.¹
