     Daniel Hamer Purkis was born on 27 December 1921 in Hackney, London, England, his mother's maiden name was Hamer.1,2 He married Hilda Dorothy V Booth, daughter of Frederick Edwin Booth and Ada Alice R Thomas, in 1942 in Camberwell, London, England.3 In 1946 electoral list Daniel was listed as living at 45 Campion Grove, Lewisham, London, England with his wife Hilda they will have had their daughter Gail with them.4 In 1950 electoral list Daniel was listed as living at 5 Bankhurst Road, Lambeth, London, England with his wife Hilda.4 In 1952 electoral list Daniel was listed as living at 42 Beechfield Road, Lambeth, London, England with his wife Hilda.4 In 1953 electoral list Daniel was listed as living at 42 Tatnell Road, Lewisham, London, England with his wife Hilda certainly until 1956.4 His wife Hilda died on December 1977 in Lambeth, London, England, aged 57.5 Daniel died in December 1980 in Bromley, Kent, England.6

     Alice Emma Brigden was born in 1873 in Wandsworth, London, England. She married Edward Thomas Booth, son of Charles Henry Booth and Agnes Matilda Andrews, on 3 August 1896 in Edmonton, London, England, after the banns being read on 12, 19 and 26 July.1,2 Alice died on 18 September 1964 in Royal East Sussex Hospital, Hastings, Sussex, England, her usual address was 57a Gunters Lane Bexhill on Sea.3,4 The will of Alice was proved on 10 November 1964 in Lewes to Albert Jack Filer a retired civil servant. her estate was valued at £2688.4

     Eliza Ann Walls was born about 1887.1 She married Alfred C Booth, son of Alfred Charles Booth and Mary Ann Hions, in 1921 in Woolwich, London, England.2 Her husband Alfred died on 24 August 1958 in 2 Walden Park Crescent, Forest Hill, London, England.3,4 Eliza died on 6 February 1961 in 3 Waldram Crescent, Forest Hill, London, England.3,5 The will of Eliza was proved on 21 February 1961 in London to Mrs Caroline Ellen Smith. Her effects were valued at £328 17s 4d.3
