Charles was a carter on the farm living with his wife and children.10 She was the wife of Charles Ireland in the 1901 census in 13 Victoria Road, Godalming, Surrey, England. Charles was a carter on the farm living with his wife and children. Their grandaughter Olive Stevens was staying with them as was Henry Lawrence aged 11 months who was listed as a nurse child. I believe Edgar and Alfred were the children of Rose.11 Her husband Charles died on 19 October 1904 in Charterhouse Farm, Godalming, Surrey, England.12,13 She appeared in the household as a boarder of Elizabeth Mary Rose Ireland in the 1911 census in Harts Yard, Godalming, Surrey, England. Ruth was a laundry worker. Interestingly she says she had 9 children all of which were still alive in 1911.14 She died on 4 March 1918 in Cattershall Hatch, Godalming, Surrey, England.12,15
