He was a farm servant.2 He married Sarah Cooke on 29 September 1847 in St Nicolas, Cranleigh, Surrey, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by James Cooke and Ann Ansell. Felix was a labourer like his father Elijah. Sarah's father, James Cooke was also a labourer. The bride and groom and both witnesses signed with their marks. Felix was a bachelor and Sarah a spinster.3,4 He was listed as head of household in the 1851 census in Thorns Plush, Shamley Green, Surrey, England. Felix was an agricultural labourer living with his wife and daughters little Mary was only 8 months.5 He was listed as head of household in the 1861 census in Rowley Lodge, Shamley Green, Surrey, England. Felix was an agricultural labourer living with his wife and family.6 He was listed as head of household in the 1871 census in Rowley Lodge, Shamley Green, Surrey, England. Felix was listed as married and living with his son Felix, he was ana gricultural labourer.7 He was listed as head of household in the 1881 census in Sparelands, Ewhurst, Surrey, England. Felix was an agricultiural labourer living with his wife and someone calle Alice M Jackson aged 10. No relationship details were recorded. The enumerator wrote on the side of the sheet that this house with a population of 3 was moved to Wonersh Parish.8 He was listed as head of household in the 1891 census in 4 Brodherst Cottage, Cranleigh, Surrey, England. Felix was a farm labourer living with his wife.9 He died in 1894 in Hambledon, Surrey, England.10 He was buried on 29 May 1894 in Holy Trinity, Bramley, Surrey, England.11
