George was a labourer.3 He was the son of Richard Durrant and Ann Durrant in the 1891 census in Yew Cottage, Barnett Lane, Wonersh, Surrey, England. George was an agricultural labourer.4,5 He appeared in the 1901 census in 13 Lawnsmead, Wonersh, Surrey, England. He was lodging with James and Mary Ann Jameson and their family.      David Durrant was born on 29 May 1872 in Halfpenny Farm, Chilworth, Surrey, England.1,2 He was the son of Richard Durrant and Ann Elliott. He was the son of Richard Durrant and Ann Durrant in the 1881 census in 23 Lawnsmead, Wonersh, Surrey, England.3 He was the son of Richard Durrant and Ann Durrant in the 1891 census in Yew Cottage, Barnett Lane, Wonersh, Surrey, England. David was an agricultural labourer, he worked with the bullocks at Lostiford Farm.4,2 He married Edith Elizabeth Turner on 4 June 1900 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by Thomas Elliott and Elizabeth Elliott. David was a carter and his father Richard a labourer. Edith's father Frank Turner was listed as deceased. Dave was working for Colonel Ricardo at Bramley Park.5,6,2 He was listed as head of household in the 1911 census in Woodrough Cottage, Bramley, Surrey, England. David was a cowman on the estate and lived with his wife and their five children.7 In 1917 Dave celebrated working for thirty years at the Seminary.2 Elizabeth, David and his brother Edward lived in 1929 in Seminary Cottages, Wonersh, Surrey, England.8 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register David was listed as living at 1 Seminary Cottages, Wonersh, Surrey, England, with his wife Edith. David was a general farm labourer, Edith was listed as incapacitated.9 He received the probate of the estate of Richard Bennett on 6 March 1944.10,11 David and Edith were living with their sons Frank and Robert in 1946.8 His wife Edith died in 1950 in Wonersh, Surrey, England.12 Frank wrote his will on 13 February 1952.13 He died on 12 March 1958 in 1 Seminary Cottages, Wonersh, Surrey, England, at age 85 He had lived there for over forty years.14,2 He was buried on 17 March 1958 in Wonersh and Blackheath Cemetery, Wonersh, Surrey, England, in plot 293 after a service in St John the Baptist Wonersh.12 His estate was probated on 6 May 1958 to his son Frank Durrant of 1 Seminary Cottage. His effects were valued at £369 13s 2d. His funeral costs were £43 18s. and legal expenses £18 3s 6d. Specific legacies of £10 were given to David's sons Wiilliam, Richard, Robert, Arthur, £15 to his daughter Margaret and £5 to his daughter Freda.
£10 given as a legacy to his grandson Alfred Reginald and discreionary legacies of £10 each were invested for other grandchildren, David Lewis, Peter Szrzesny, David Durrant, David Durrant, Valerie Cooke, Diane Cooke, Angela Durrant and Barbara Durant. Insurance and club money totalling £62 16s 6d was bequeathed to Frank Durrant. Also siblings Frank, Albert and Freda each received £15 5s 6d.13

He was baptised on 21 July 1878 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England.2 He was the son of Richard Durrant and Ann Durrant in the 1881 census in 23 Lawnsmead, Wonersh, Surrey, England.3 He was the son of Richard Durrant and Ann Durrant in the 1891 census in Yew Cottage, Barnett Lane, Wonersh, Surrey, England. Peter was an agricultural labourer.4,5 He was the brother of Thomas Durrant and Mary Jane Durrant in the 1901 census in Kilner Cottage, Barnett Lane, Wonersh, Surrey, England. Peter was a labourer on the farm.6 He was the brother of Mary Jane Durrant in the 1911 census in Chilworth, Surrey, England. Peter was a coal carman.7 He died in 1914 in Albury, Surrey, England, The newspaper article in the Surrey Advertiser of 28 March 1914 reported the The West Surrey Coroner, Mr Gilbert H White held an inquest at the Drummond Arms in Albury on the body of Peter Durrant who was found in a cart shed at Mr William Sherlock's premises on Albury Heath. William was a coal merchant. Evidence was given by his brother Edward Durrant, a cowman of Wonersh. Peter used to live in Wonersh but during the last few years to sleeping rough. Peter's death was due to congestion of the lungs and kidney trouble.8,9
