     Grace Doreen Preece was born in 1919 in Pershore, Worcestershire, England, her mothers maiden name was Roberts.1,3 She married Leslie Victor Hampshire, son of Alfred Hampshire and Alice Valler, in 1940 in Surrey, England.1,4 Leslie and Grace lived in 8 Barnett Road in Wonersh between 1978 and 1995 when Leslie died. Grace lived there then alone.5 Her husband Leslie died in 1995 in Surrey, England.6 She died on 16 May 2015 in Longfield Care Home, Cranleigh, Surrey, England, she had previously lived in 8 Barnett Lane in Wonersh.1 Her body was cremated after a funeral service on 5 June in St St John the Baptist in Wonersh. The service at the Crematorium was taken by Rev Liz Tilley. Her ashes were then buried in Wonersh and Blackheath Cemetery in Wonersh in plot Z19 on 10 June 2015 in Guildford Crematorium, Godalming, Surrey, England.1
