     Dorothy Hilda Marketis was born on 15 July 1904.1,2 She married Alexander Charles Tunley, son of Alexander C Tunley and Mary Gertrude Pearson, in 1937 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.3 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Dorothy was listed as living at Dilkusha, Birmingham Road, Bromsgrove, Warwickshire, England with her husband Alexander. Alexander was an Iron Foundry Foreman living with his wife and young daughter.4 Dorothy died in 1951 in Bromsgrove, Warwickshire, England.5

     Elsie Maud Banthorpe was born on 15 July 1906 in Dennington, Suffolk, England.1,2,3 She was the daughter of George Banthorpe and Clara Stopher.1 She married Harry Spearman Flemming in 1929 in Hartismere, Suffolk, England.4 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Elsie was listed as living at 87 College Road, Blyth, Suffolk, England with her husband Harry. Harry was a Contractor's Managing Clerk living with his wife and widowed father in law and three others, possibly including his two children Jane and William. Harry was a foreman in the Framlingham Brigade.5 The will of George was proved by Elsie Maud Flemming his daughter on 7 November 1941.6 Her husband Harry died on 25 June 1958 in 8 Badingham Road, Framlingham, Suffolk, England, aged 52.7,8 The will of Harry was proved by Elsie Maud Flemming his widow on 18 August 1958.7 Elsie died in February 1990 in Waveney, Suffolk, England, aged 83.9

Harry was a Contractor's Managing Clerk living with his wife and widowed father in law and three others, possibly including his two children Jane and William.      Reuben Meadows was baptised on 7 October 1860 in St Mary, Dennington, Suffolk, England.1 He married Elizabeth Banthorpe, daughter of William Banthorpe and Letitia Bloomfield, on 3 November 1883 in St Mary, Denninggton, Suffolk, England, the ceremony was witnessed by William Banthorpe and Mary Meadows. Reuben was the son of George Meadows and Mary Ann Fisk.2,1 Reuben was listed as the head of the family on the census of 5 April 1891 in Saxted Road, Dennington, Suffolk, England, Reuben was an agricultural labourer living with his wife and three children.3 Reuben was listed as head of household in the census of 31 March 1901 in Vyces Road, Framlingham, Suffolk, England, Reuben was a corn miller and carter living with his wife and children.4 Reuben was listed as head of household in the census of 2 April 1911 in Vyces Road, Framlingham, Suffolk, England, Reuben was a miller and carter living with his wife and four of their children. Reuben and Elizabeth had eight children, sadly two of them had died before 1911.5 Reuben died in 1934 in Plomesgate, Suffolk, England.6

     Reuben Meadows was born about 1885 in Dennington, Suffolk, England.1 He was the son of Reuben Meadows and Elizabeth Banthorpe.1 In the census of 5 April 1891 in Saxted Road, Dennington, Suffolk, England, he was listed as the son of Reuben Meadows.2 In the census of 31 March 1901 in Vyces Road, Framlingham, Suffolk, England, he was listed as the son of Reuben Meadows Reuben was a Gardeners assistant.3 In the census of 2 April 1911 in Vyces Road, Framlingham, Suffolk, England, he was listed as the son of Reuben Meadows Reuben was a millers assistant.4 He married Amy Ward in 1914 in Plomesgate, Suffolk, England.5 Reuben died on 28 September 1916 in France killed in action while serving as a Private with 7th Battalion of Queen's (Royal West Surrey) Regiment Number G/21183. He had previously served as 26971 in the Middlesex Regiment.6 Reuben is remembered on Pier and Face 5 D and 6 D on in Thiepval Memorial, Somme, Picardie, France.7

     Ernest William Meadows was born in 1887 in Dennington, Suffolk, England.1,2 He was the son of Reuben Meadows and Elizabeth Banthorpe.1 In the census of 5 April 1891 in Saxted Road, Dennington, Suffolk, England, he was listed as the son of Reuben Meadows.3 In the census of 31 March 1901 in Vyces Road, Framlingham, Suffolk, England, he was listed as the son of Reuben Meadows Ernest was a domestic page boy.4 In the census of 2 April 1911 in The Beecles Westerfield Road, Ipswich, Suffolk, England, he was listed as the servant to Herbert and Etheldreda Manby and their family. Herbert was a corn merchant.5 He married Lilian May Reeve on 22 December 1917 in Dennington Church, Dennington, Suffolk, England.6,7 Ernest died on 22 March 1918 in France he was a Sergeant in the Cambridgeshire Regiment Number 200350.8 Ernest is remembered on Panel 84 and 85 in Pozieres Memorial, Picardie, France.8

     William George Meadows was born in 1899 in Framlingham, Suffolk, England.1,2 He was the son of Reuben Meadows and Elizabeth Banthorpe.1 In the census of 31 March 1901 in Vyces Road, Framlingham, Suffolk, England, he was listed as the son of Reuben Meadows.3 In the census of 2 April 1911 in Vyces Road, Framlingham, Suffolk, England, he was listed as the son of Reuben Meadows.4 The will of Ellen was proved by William George Meadows her nephew on 26 April 1952 he was a shop assistant.5 William died in 1964 in Blyth, Suffolk, England.6
