Witnessed by Joseph Leslie and Benjamin Carrington Blackburn.2,1 In the census of 2 April 1871 in Chapel Street, Bilton with Harrogate, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as the wife of Jonathan Roberts Birks.3 She died before 1881 as Jonathan was a widower on the 1881 census, his daughter Annie Isabella was acting as his housekeeper.4

     Frank Mayson was born in 1866 in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England.3,4 He was the son of William Mayson and Sarah Ann Truelove.2 In the census of 2 April 1871 in Ward Street, Stranton, West Hartlepool, Durham, England, he was listed as the son of William Mayson Frank was a scholar.5 In the census of 3 April 1881 in Chisholm Cottages, Stranton, West Hartlepool, Durham, England, he was listed as the son of an unknown person Frank was a scholar.6 In the census of 5 April 1891 in 5 Fountain Terrace, Stranton, West Hartlepool, Durham, England, he was listed as the son of William Mayson Frank was a solicitor.7 He married Charlotte Elizabeth Birks, daughter of Jonathan Roberts Birks and Charlotte Hutton, in 1892 in Nottinghamshire, England.8 Frank was listed as head of household in the census of 31 March 1901 at 1 Serpentine Road, Hartlepool, Durham, England, Frank was a solictor.2
