The ceremony was witnessed by James Lee and Ann Larbey. George was a labourer like his father also called George Worsfold. Jane's father William Larby was deceased but had worked as a labourer.2 Her husband George died in 1884 in Bramley, Surrey, England.3 She died in 1897 in Bramley, Surrey, England.4 She was buried on 5 February 1897 in Holy Trinity, Bramley, Surrey, England.4

James Lumley

     James Lumley was born on 2 June 1875 in Hillgate, Morpeth, Northumberland, England.1 He married Elizabeth Jenkins, daughter of Henry Edward Jenkins and Charlotte Worsfold, on 9 October 1897 in St Mary, Guildford, Surrey, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by William Jenkins and Mary Ann Bunce. James was a cabinet maker like his father William Lumley. Elizabeth's father Henry Jenkins was a labourer.2 James and Elizabeth had moved from Guildford to Esher then East Moseley before moving North to Newcastle upon Tyne by 1910. They had five children none of whom it would appear moved back to Surrey. He died on 23 December 1941 in Newcastle upon Tyne, Durham, England, at age 66.3

     John Tewsley was born circa 1804 in Witley, Surrey, England. He married Hannah Wakeford, daughter of Henry Wakeford and Elizabeth Sparkes, on 19 October 1824 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England, after a licence had been issued. The ceremony was witnessed by james Tewley and Harriet Wakeford.1 John and Hannah emigrated to Canada in 1836. His wife Hannah died on 31 August 1844 in Ontario, Canada. He died on 11 September 1871 in Lincoln, Ontario, Canada.

     Mabel Sophia Crane was born on 5 June 1877. She married James Henry Crane Mabel was previously married to Arthur Charles Crane who died on 4 September 1916. Whether James and Mabel went through a marriage ceremony is uncertain. On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Mabel was listed as living at 24 Darland Avenue, Gillingham, Kent, England, with her husband James. James was a retired railway inspector.1 Her husband James died on 28 January 1948 in 24 Darland Avenue, Gillingham, Kent, England.2,3 She received the probate of the estate of James Henry Crane on 11 March 1948 in London to Mabel Sophia Crane his widow. His effects were valued at £786 3s 11d.3 She died in 1979 in Chatham, Kent, England.4

     Mary Ann Earl Novell was born on 16 May 1875 in Godalming, Surrey, England. She married George William Norris, son of Richard James Norris and Harriet Ings, on 3 April 1899 in St Thomas of Canterbury, East Clandon, Surrey, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by Mary Ann Nichools and James Richard Norris. George was a plasterer and his father James Richard Norris was a carman. Mary's father Henry Eary Novell was a Gentleman.1 George and Mary moved to Godalming after their marriage and had five daughters Kate Annie G, Hilda, Ivy May, Emily and Minnie. They all seemed to stay in the Godalming area not returning to Wonersh. On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Mary was listed as living at 27 Victoria Road, Godalming, London, England, with her husband George. George was a plasterer.2 Her husband George died in 1946 in Surrey, England.3 She died in 1960 in Surrey, England.4

     John Styles was born circa 1858 in East Clandon, Surrey, England. He married Mary Norris, daughter of Richard James Norris and Harriet Ings, on 1 March 1890 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England, after the banns had been read. He married Frances M Dahler in 1955 in Holborn, London, England.2 He died on 17 May 1993 in 56 Billet Lane, Stanford le-Hope, Essex, England, at age 59.3,4 His estate was probated on 28 June 1993 in Ipswich. Hos effects did not exceed £125,000.4
