Elizabeth was a spinster when she signed her will on 11 December 1780.2 She died circa 1801 in Wonersh, Surrey, England.1 She was buried on 8 July 1801 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England, in plot 122.1 Her estate was probated on 1 September 1801 in London by Worshipful Charles Coote Knight also Doctor of Laws Master Keeper by the oath of her brother Robert Tanworth.2

     Leonard Basil Hudson was born on 30 July 1903 in Croydon, Surrey, England.1 He married Blanche Ruth Bliss in 1932 in Kensington, London, England.2 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Leonard was listed as living at 10 Duchess of Bedford House, Kensington, London, England, with his wife Blanche. Leonard was the sole proprietor of import and export and distributor Colonial fruit and produce, general exporter to the colonies.3 He married Rosemary June L Lovely in 1952 in Westminster, London, England.4 Leonard, Rosemary and young Nicholas travelled first class on RMS Pretoria Castle from South Africa via Madeira tonarriving back in Southampton on 14 October 1960. They gave their address in UK as Rosemary Hill, Blackheath, Guildford in Surrey.5 He died on 7 July 1972 in Court House, The Street, Wonersh, Surrey, England, at age 68.6,7 His estate was probated in 1972 in London.      Blanche Ruth Bliss was born on 5 July 1904 in Walthamstow, London, England, her parents were Henry Thomas and Julie Bliss.1,2 She married Leonard Basil Hudson in 1932 in Kensington, London, England.3 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Blanche was listed as living at 10 Duchess of Bedford House, Kensington, London, England, with her husband Leonard. Leonard was the sole proprietor of import and export and distributor Colonial fruit and produce, general exporter to the colonies.4 Blanche had a temporary passport issued by the Foreign Office in London on 26 August 1947 and arrived back in England on 21 August 1952 giving her address as Hawkins House, Dolphin Square London SW1.1 Blanche arrived in Southampton on 28 June 1960 on board the Queen Elizabeth from New York. She gave her address s 29 Arlington Street, Lindon which was the same as another passenger John I Spens an accountant born 22 February 1890.5 She died on 29 December 1970 in 21 Arlington Hopuse, Arlington Street, Westminster, London, England, at age 66.6,7 Her estate was probated on 4 May 1971 in London, her effects were valued at £24,69.7

The ceremony was witnessed by Ernest George Sherlock and Levi Mant. Joseph was an engineer from Wonersh. His father Frederick Mant was a labourer. Georgina 's father Alfred Caleb Sherlock was a gardener.2 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Georgina was listed as living at Sydalg, 4 Chantry Row, Chilworth, Surrey, England, with her husband Joseph. Joseph was a skiller centre lathe turner.3 Her husband Joseph died on 9 August 1970 in Sydalg, 4 Chantry Row, Chilworth, Surrey, England.4,5 She died on 28 March 1980 in Sydalg, 4 Chantry Row, Chilworth, Surrey, England, at age 74.6,5 Her estate was probated on 12 May 1980 in Winchester . On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Charles George Wood was listed as living at The Street, Compton, Surrey, England, with his parents Charles was a motor engineer.2 He married Violet Mary Wakeman, daughter of William H Wakeman and Grace Emily Wood, on 22 September 1945 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by Maria Theodora Schafe and Cecil George Masters. Charles was a motor mechanic living in Wonersh. His father Walter Henry Wood was a retired private estate engineer. Violet's father William Henry Wakeman was deceased but had worked as a wharfinger.3,4 He witnessed the death of Violet who died on 16 March 1952 in Swanscombe, 55 New Road, Wonersh, Surrey, England.5,6 He married Eileen Rhoda Burgess in 1953 in Surrey, England.7 He received the probate of the estate of Walter Henry Wood on 28 April 1953 in London Charles was working as a turner and fitter.6 His wife Eileen died in May 1999 in Surrey, England.8 He died in August 1999 in Surrey, England, at age 85.9

     William H Wakeman was born on 31 December 1871 in Swanscombe, Kent, England. He married Grace Emily Wood on 11 February 1899 in Swanscombe, Kent, England, her father was Henry Wood.1,2 He was listed as head of household in the 1901 census in 54 Old Gravel Lane, St George in the East, London, England. William was a labourer living with his wife and sons, William and Sidney who was just 4 months old.3 He was listed as head of household in the 1911 census in 54 Old Gravel Lane, St George in the East, London, England. William was a labourer in the docks living with his wife Grace who worked in a confectioners shop and their children.4 William, Grace, Leonard and Violet are list on the 1938 electoral roll as living at 6 Jackman House in Tower Hamlets.5 It would seem that when William and Grace moved to Wonersh they named their house Swanscombe after the viillage that William was born and where he and Grace married. On 29 September 1939 in the National Register William was listed as living at Swanscombe, 55 New Road, Wonersh, Surrey, England, with his wife Grace. William was incapacitated living with wife and two daughters.6 He died in 1942 in Swanscombe, 55 New Road, Wonersh, Surrey, England.7 He was buried on 8 January 1942 in Wonersh and Blackheath Cemetery, Wonersh, Surrey, England.7
