     John Bryning Richardson was born on 4 February 1888. He married Phyllis Evelyn Toft, daughter of Albert Arthur Toft and Alice Ellen Hockley, in 1912 in St Marylebone, London, England.1 John was a 2nd Lieutenant in the Royal Engineers in WW1.2 As well as being a mining engineer John ran an ordinance factory in WW2, in the 1960s he was a representative of the U.K. Atomic Energy Commission to Australia and New Zealand.2 In 1961-67 John and Phyllis and both listed on the electoral rolls for Stone Cottage in Wonersh.3 John is listed on the electoral rolls for Stone Cottage in Wonersh living alone in 1971.3 His wife Phyllis died on 12 March 1975 in Wolverhampton, Warwickshire, England.4,5,6 He died in 1980 in Wolerhampton Care Home, Wolverhampton, Warwickshire, England, He was presumably here to be close to his daughter Barbara.7,2 Both Phyllis and John's ashes were buried on 29 August 1980 in Wonersh and Blackheath Cemetery, Wonersh, Surrey, England.4

She married John Bryning Richardson in 1912 in St Marylebone, London, England.2 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Phyllis was listed as living at 11 Curzon Park, Chester, Cheshire, England, Phyllis and her daughter were staying with Herbert and Kathleen Barker-Jones.3 In 1961-67 John and Phyllis and both listed on the electoral rolls for Stone Cottage in Wonersh.4 Phyllis is listed on the electoral rolls as living alone in 1969 at Stone Cottage in Wonersh.4 She died on 12 March 1975 in Wolverhampton, Warwickshire, England, at age 85 her usual address as Stone Cottage in Wonersh Surrey, maybe she was staying with her daughter Barbara.1,5,6 Her body was cremated on 25 March 1975.1 Her estate was probated on 17 June 1975 in Winchester. Her effects were valued at £40,277.6 Both Phyllis and John's ashes were buried on 29 August 1980 in Wonersh and Blackheath Cemetery, Wonersh, Surrey, England.1

Joan and Barbara were bound for 1 Bishops Wood Road, Highgate N6.2 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register Barbara Marie Richardson was listed as living at 11 Curzon Park, Chester, Cheshire, England, with her parents Barbara and her mother were ataying with Herbert and Kathleen Barker-Jones. Barbara was a masseuse.3 She married Henry Neville Bowdler in 1945 in Naples, Italy.4 It would appear that Mrs Barbara M Bowdler lived in 2003 at Great Moor Road (Little Hayes) in Wolverhampton she and Henry moved staying until around 2010 at 2 Clive Road, Pattingham, Wolverhampton.5 Her husband Henry died in April 2003 in Wrekin, Shropshire, England.6

     Henry Neville Bowdler was born on 4 January 1917 in Wolverhampton, Warwickshire, England.1 He married Barbara Marie Richardson, daughter of John Bryning Richardson and Phyllis Evelyn Toft, in 1945 in Naples, Italy.2 It would appear that Mrs Barbara M Bowdler lived in 2003 at Great Moor Road (Little Hayes) in Wolverhampton she and Henry moved staying until around 2010 at 2 Clive Road, Pattingham, Wolverhampton.3 He died in April 2003 in Wrekin, Shropshire, England, at age 86.4

     In 1895 Albert was listed as living at 30 Cromwell Road in South Wimbledon.1 Albert Arthur Toft was born on 3 June 1862 in Handworth, Staffordshire, England, his parents were Rosanna and Charles Toft. He married Alice Ellen Hockley in 1888 in Fulham, London, England, Albert was trained at Wedgwood and became a sculptor of great note and created many royal and war monuments.2 His wife Alice died in 1910 in Marylebone, London, England.3 He died on 18 December 1949 in 22 Downview Road, Worthing, Sussex, England, at age 87.4,5 His estate was probated on 4 March 1950 in London to Clarence Stanhope Hadfield an artist and John Bryning Richardson a consulting engineer. His effects were valued at £16,367 18s 2d.4

     Joan Richardson was baptised on 2 March 1914 in Hartley, Kent, England.1 She was born on 14 April 1914 in Paddington, London, England.2 She was the daughter of John Bryning Richardson and Phyllis Evelyn Toft. Philip, Joan and Barbara arrived 2nd class in London on board the ship Rawalpindi from Gibraltar on 28 April 1933, Philip a scholar was bound for Collinson House, Mill Hill School NW7. Joan and Barbara were bound for 1 Bishops Wood Road, Highgate N6.3 On 29 September 1939 in the National Register she was listed as living at 14 Monarch Court, Finchley, London, England, with her brother Joan Joan was a cookery demonstrator for a Gas light and coke company.4 She married Hector Douglas Fraser in 1941 in Chester, Cheshire, England.5 She died in 1983 in Mtma, Victoria, Australia, her mothers maiden name was listed as Toft.6,7
