     George Stansfeld Marshall was born on 2 January 1814 in London, England.1 He was baptised on 18 March 1814 in All Hallows, Barking, London, England, his parenst were Chapman and Ann Marshall. Chapman was a merhant and the family lived at Catherine Court, Leating Lane.1 He married Ellen Tooke on 8 June 1839 in St Andrew, Holborn, London, England, after a licence had been issued. The ceremony was witnessed by Chapman Marshall, Frederick Marshall and nine others. George was a meerchant living at 42 Russell Square, his father Chapman Marshall was a knight. Ellen lived at Hatton Garden, her father John Tooke was a jeweller.2 His wife Ellen died in 1840 in Marylebone, London, England.3 He married Emma Eliza Pilcher on 30 August 1843 in St George, Bloomsbury, London, England, after a licence had been issued. The ceremony was witnessed by Jeremiah Pilcher, Chapman Marshall, William H Pilcher and three others. George was a widower living at Denmark Hill and worked as a merchant. His father Chapman Marshall was listed as a Gentleman Alderman of London. Emma lived at 46 Rupele Square, her father Jeremiah Pilcher was listed as Esquire Sheriff of London.2 He died on 29 July 1883 in 41 Elsham Road, Kensington, London, England, at age 69.4,5 His estate was probated on 22 August 1883 at the Principal Registery by Chapman Marshall of 39 Mincing Lane a tea broker and Henry Marshall of 6 Aynhoe Road, Brook Green, Hammersmith, a Gentleman Executors and sons.5

Jeremiah was an oil merchant and the family lived in Dean Street.1 She married George Stansfeld Marshall on 30 August 1843 in St George, Bloomsbury, London, England, after a licence had been issued. The ceremony was witnessed by Jeremiah Pilcher, Chapman Marshall, William H Pilcher and three others. George was a widower living at Denmark Hill and worked as a merchant.      Charles Hammond was also known as Charles Palmer.1 He was born circa 1748. He was the son of William Hammond and Lydia Palmer. He married Ann Stevens on 10 April 1787 in St James, Shere, Surrey, England.2 His wife Ann died in 1816 in Wonersh, Surrey, England. Charles signed his will with an X as his mark as his eyesight had so decayed. He also stated he was otherwise known as Charles Palmer.1 He died in 1822 in Wonersh, Surrey, England. He was buried on 4 April 1822 in St James, Shere, Surrey, England, he was listed as from Wonersh and aged 74.3 His estate was probated on 12 September 1822 at London before the judge by oaths of Joseph Haydon, John Maybanke and Joseph Hockley.1

Her estate was probated on 16 August 1816 n London before Worshipful Joseph Phillimore to her husband Charles by the oath of John Maybank.3 She was buried in St James, Shere, Surrey, England.

Robert was a historical and portrait engraver living with his wife.3 His wife Ann died before 1861. He was listed as head of household in the 1861 census in 7 Swinton Street, St Pancras, London, England. Robert was living with his daughter, he was a retired engraver.4 He died in 1865.5 He was buried on 30 October 1865 he was aged 80.5
