Mabel's brothers were well known for they established a chain of garages between the wars in Godalming, Guildford, Hurtmore and Horsham.^3,4 Her estate was probated on 9 February 1939 Administration papers were issued to her husband Rowland Derbin Sage a motor engineer. Her effects were valued at £849 6s 4d.⁴
