Charles was a butcher living with his wife.8 He was listed as head of household in the 1911 census in Shamley Green, Surrey, England. Charles was a butcher living with his wife and daughter.9 The Surrey Advertiser of Monday 18 September 1916 wrote that Private T H Jackson of High Street in Bramley was reported missing since 21 August. he had joined the Army at the commencement of the war, and left England in September 1915. Previously he had been employed by Mr Bushby, butcher, of Wonersh. There were four other brothers serving inthe trenches.10 In 1932 Charles and Julia are listed as living on The Green in Shamley Green and their daughter Cecily in Franklins.11 His wife Julia died in 1942 in Surrey, England.12 He died in 1947 in Surrey, England.13

She was baptised on 17 October 1880 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England.3 She was the daughter of Henry Bushby and Clara Bushby in the 1881 census in Butchers Shop, The Street, Wonersh, Surrey, England.4 She was the daughter of Clara Bushby in the 1891 census Butchers Shop, The Street, Wonersh, Surrey, England Edith is described as a scholar but also an imbecile.5 She died in 1900 in Wonersh, Surrey, England.6 She was buried on 18 July 1900 in Wonersh and Blackheath Cemetery, Wonersh, Surrey, England, plot number 47 after a service at St John the Baptist in Wonersh. The Surrey Advertiser wrote on 15 October 1900: The internment of Miss Edith Bushby, youngest daughter of Mrs Bushby, took place in the new cemetery on Wednesday. This is the second internment in the cemetery and the only death in this part of the parish since 25 January. A huge number of wreaths was sent by sorrowing friends.7,8
