Sarah Virgo was baptised on 30 November 1788 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England.1,2 She was the daughter of James Virgo and Elizabeth Lloyd.1 She married Francis Baker on 10 August 1813 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by John Batchelor and Elizabeth Batchelor. Francis and Sarah were both from the Parish of Wonersh.1,2 James signed his will on 30 September 1844 naming his daughters Sarah Baker and Mary Cooper and Sarah's son William Virgo as beneficiaries. His housekeeper Elizabeth Smith was also named. His effects amounted to less that £200.3 Her husband Francis died on 31 January 1868 in Totteridge, London, England.1 She died on 18 July 1878 in Hertfordshire, England, at age 89.1 She was buried in St Andrews Churchyard, Totteridge, London, England, Sarah joined Francis under the same gravestone whose inscription read: In Affectionate Remembrance

Also of Ellen daughter of William and Cecilia Virgo born November 4th 1837 died May 3rd 1853 (Ellen did not die 3 May she was buried 30 April). Also of James Virgo son of William and Cecilia Virgo born August 4th 1834 died March 21st 1879. Also of Cecilia Virgo wife of William Virgo died February 12th 1894 aged 78 years. In loving memory of William Virgo born September the 1st 1810 died March 10th 1902. Sacred to the memory of Alice Virgo died Oct 23rd 1927 Aged 84 years.4 His estate was probated on 4 October 1845 in the presence of the Executor John Sparkes of Woodhill in Wonersh.2
