     Thomas Frank Bushby was born in 1898 in Farnham, Surrey, England.1 He was the son of Robert Bushby and Elizabeth Stanbridge. He was baptised on 31 July 1898 in St Thomas, Bourne, Surrey, England, his father was a gardener and the family lived at The Bourne.2 He was the nephew of Mary Ann Bushby in the 1901 census in Middle Bourne, Bourne, Surrey, England. Mary was living with two sons and a nephew Thomas Bushby aged 4.3
