Mary Ann Killick was born circa 1829 in Wonersh, Surrey, England. She was the daughter of Henry Killick and Hannah Jackman. She was baptised on 10 February 1829 in St John the Baptist, Wonersh, Surrey, England.1 She was the daughter of Henry Killick and Hannah Killick in the 1851 census in Wonersh Street, Wonersh, Surrey, England.2 She was the daughter of Henry Killick in the 1861 census in Wonersh, Surrey, England.3 The West Surrey Times reported on 30 November that the previous Tuesday (26th) between four and five o'clock the inhabitants of Wonersh were alarmed by the rumour that Mary had cut her throat. It appears that she wrote a note and sent her father with it to the clergyman's, telling him what she intended to do and likewise to get her father out of the way. Of course they were both shocked when they knew the contents of the letter, and hastened back to her house, but too late to prevent her attemptiing her rash object, though she did not do it effectually, her courage seeming to have failed her. Her life is not now in danger.4 She was a daughter of Henry Killick in the 1871 census.5 She died on 16 June 1879 in Wonersh, Surrey, England.6,7 She was buried on 18 June 1879 in Christ Church, Shamley Green, Surrey, England, after a service in St John the Baptist in Wonersh.8 Her estate was probated on 17 July 1879 in the Principal Registry by her brother Henry Killick a gardener in Wonersh, as sole Executor. her estate was valued at £0.7
