Edward was a surgeon.3 He married Caroline Josephine Marguetti on 22 August 1871 in St Mary, Finchley, London, England, after the banns had been read. The ceremony was witnessed by Georgina Adele Weiss and ? Philip Marguetti. Edric was a Surgeon from Wargrave and his father Fredrick Lokes Selous was listed as a gentleman. While in hospital she was given much medical treatment.14,15 She died on 31 August 1911 in Brookwood Asylum, Woking, Surrey, England, at age 61 her usual address was Elm Villa in Shamley Green.11,16 She was buried by friends on 4 September 1911 in Christ Church, Shamley Green, Surrey, England, in plot B16.17 Her estate was probated on 17 April 1912 in London to Esther Heather, wife of Henry Heather. Her effects were valued at £555 16s 7d.11
