They had a new baby aged 4 months, she was presumably helping out. The baby Emily died later that year.7 In the census of 3 April 1881 in Hill Top, Arkengarthdale, Yorkshire, England, she was listed as the wife of Ralph Hind.8

His mother was visiting presumably helping out with little Emily who died later that year.5 William was listed as the head of the family on the census of 3 April 1881 in 15 Oak Street, Middlesbrough, Yorkshire, England, William was a clerk at the steel works living with his wife and son.
