In 1911 census Frederick and Mary stated they had six children one of whom had died before 1911. I believe it was either Ralph or Frederick.4

     Jane Bromley was born about 1856 in Arkengarthdale, Yorkshire, England.1 She married Robert Hind, son of Ralph Hind and Margaret Bradley, in 1876 in Auckland, Durham, England.1,2 In the census of 5 April 1881 in Prairie House, Woodland, Durham, England, she was listed as the wife of Robert Hind.3 Jane was listed as the head of the family of on the census of 5 April 1891 in Slack, Lynesack, Durham, England, Jane was a dressmaker living with four of her children. I do not as yet know where her husband was.4

     Robert Batty Hind was born in 1876 in Lynesack, Durham, England.1,2 He was the son of Robert Hind and Jane Bromley.1 In the census of 5 April 1881 in Prairie House, Woodland, Durham, England, he was listed as the son of Robert Hind.3 In the census of 5 April 1891 in Slack, Lynesack, Durham, England, he was listed as the son of Jane Hind Robert was a coal miner.4 He married Elizabeth Ann Slack in 1900 in Auckland, Durham, England.1,5 In the census of 31 March 1901 he was listed as the son in law of George Slack a coal miner Robert was a railway colliery fireman.6
