     Mervyn Hanau married Monica Ann Foehlich, daughter of Casper Lotter Foehlich and Alice Milner Greathead, in East London, South Africa, This was rather a sad whirlwind marriage. Mervyn and Monica were engaged, married and divorced within one calendar year. There were no children from the marriage.1
