I am investigating.1 She was the daughter of Thomas Tunley and Rebecca Brown.1 In the census of 3 April 1881 in 1 Jackaroo, Court 3, Brierley Hill, Sedgeley, Staffordshire, England, she was listed as the daughter of Rebecca Tunley Ellen was a scholar.2

     Thomas Humphries was born about 1823 in Oswestry, Shropshire, England.1 He married Eliza Tunley, daughter of Thomas Tunley and Mary Hughes.1 Thomas was listed as head of household in the census of 30 March 1851 at Harts Hill, Dudley, Staffordshire, England, Thomas was a furnace labourer living with his family and mother in law. His nephew Edwin was also living there, he was a scholar.2
