     Elizabeth Holcroft married Thomas Greathead on 4 September 1766 in St Mary the Virgin, Leigh, Lancashire, England, after the banns had been read on 27 July, 3 August and 10 August 1766. The ceremony was witnessed by John Heaton and John Richardson. Thomas was a leather cutter of the Parish of Leigh. Elizabeth was from the Parish of Dean, both signed the register with a X.1,2,3 Elizabeth died on 15 July 1791.1
