Thelma May Greathead née Preston
     Thelma May Preston was born on 1 June 1907 in Kenkeri, New Zealand.1 She married Clarence Bright Greathead, son of Ernest Frederick Greathead and Mary Toms, on 18 August 1926 in Methodist Church, Waitakaru, New Zealand.1,2 Her husband Clarence died on 19 February 1960 in Otahuhu, Auckland, New Zealand, aged 58.1,3 She was buried in Otahuhu Cemetery, Area J Lot no 7, Otahuhu, Auckland, New Zealand, Clarence and his wife were buried in the same grave. The ashes of their son Martin were also scattered on the grave. The transcription on the gravestone read " In loving memory of Clarence Bright Greathead, loved husband and father, born January 1902, 19 February 1960. Preserve me , O God, for in thee have I put my trust."4 She died on 23 March 1988 in Otahuhu, Auckland, New Zealand, aged 80.1

He married Susan Matthews in 1967.1 He married Lucy Iri in 1989 Lucy was Martin's second wife.1 He died on 15 September 1994 in Middlemore Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand, aged 53 from pneumonia.1,2,3 He was buried Martin's ashes were scattered on his parent's grave. The transcription on the gravestone read " In loving memory of Clarence Bright Greathead, loved husband and father, born January 1902, 19 February 1960. Preserve me , O God, for in thee have I put my trust."4
