     Ellen Bland was born in 1891 in Bolton, Lancashire, England.1 She was the daughter of Joseph Bland and Ada Ellen Tunley. In the census of 31 March 1901 in 421 Salford Road, Bolton, Lancashire, England, she was listed as the daughter of Joseph Bland.2
