She married Frank Arnett Westwood on 14 April 1941 in Gretown Methodist Church, Greytown, Wanganui, New Zealand.1 Gwendoline died on 5 June 1958 in Brooklyn, Wellington, New Zealand, aged 46.1

Roy Gilbert Haigh was born on 16 July 1919 in Greytown, Wanganui, New Zealand.1 He was the son of Edward John Haigh and Kathleen Maud Poad.1 Roy started work in 1935 for the Post Office retiring in 1976 having reached the position of Chief Postmaster in Masterton. During the war years he spent just over 4 years in the army making use of his wireless operating skills in the Pacific theatre of war.1 Here is a lovely picture of Edward and Katie Haigh and their six children, Lorna, Gwendoline, Nancy, Dulcie, Roy and Kathleen.1
He married Dorothy Janet Law on 7 August 1944 in Stratford Presbyterian Church, Stratford, New Zealand.1 Roy died on 15 April 2000 in New Plymouth, New Zealand, aged 80.1
