Beverley Ann Morris

Beverley Deteouf née Morris
     Beverley Ann Morris was born in November 1956 in Wharfedale, Yorkshire, England.1 She was the daughter of Peter Graham Morris and Joan Maureen Booth. She married Simon P Detoeuf in 1978 in Bradford, Yorkshire, England.2 Beverley was an archer and coach having started shooting in 1968 as a successful junior aand senior archer rising to National level in 1975. She was a Director of The Grand National Archery Society from 19 July 2008-3 June 2009. She was also Director of The Archer Foundation from 28 March 2019-13 August 2020.3 Beverley died on 13 August 2020 aged 63 Beverley was rushed to hospital the day before but died of a stroke, completely unexpectedly and with no warning signs with her sons by her side.4

In the census of 2 April 1911 in 25 Lily Cottages, Dipton, Durham, England, she was listed as the daughter of Mary Elizabeth Gerrens.3 In the census of 19 June 1921 in Butes Cottges, Dipton, Durham, England, she was listed as the step daughter of George Lumley Greathead May was a domestic servant.4

     Robert Gerrens was born in 1900 in Dipton, Durham, England, Robert was the twin of Ellen who sadly died in infancy.1 He was the son of William John Gerrens and Mary Elizabeth Farren.
